Dialysis treatment with modern equipment - Dialysis Department

The department functions under the supervision of a qualified. The department is capable of both & depending on the dialysis modality which is best suited to patient’s health. Strict protocols on prevention of diseases are observed during the process of dialysis.

Features of the Department

  • 8 bed comfortable arrangement
  • The department is functional from 08:00am to 10:00 pm, however 24 hours emergency cover
  • Appointments are only given on the basis of referral by a Consultant Nephrologist
  • Screening is performed for all patients before undergoing dialysis. Screen tests include, HBS HCV HIV
  • Dedicated dialysis machines available for HBS+ and HCV+ patients
  • Cardiac monitors are available for monitoring patients suffering from cardiac conditions
  • Average duration for haemodialysis is between 3 to 4 hours Centrally controlled oxygen supply
  • Digital weighing scale installed capable of weighing patients on wheel chairs
  • Dialysis machine functions through built-in battery in case of interruption in the power supply
  • Bicarbonate solution used for Dialysis Regular maintenance of equipment and strict protocols ensures an infection-free and hygienic environment
